It would be great to contribute one’s own crawling and indexing to the YaCy project, but despite opening a port, YaCy is indicating that it can’t reach other instances.
If you know some helpful videos/tutorials on how to configure the router and YaCy to do peer-to-peer, please provide some links!
Can you reach your server outside your private network? Further can you reach other YaCy instances from your pc?
YaCy worked, it was able to search something and provide results, so I think it must have connected to other instances. Currently though this instance is only leeching, not helping others.
Could you jot down a few notes on the steps to take to configure to work when using both a router and a VPN?
