Cloudflare blocked me from seeing a web page here in the USA. The page has evidence that goes against what Americans were told to believe by the news corporations and leaders.
But a Yacy peer in the Philippines was able to see it… and cache it. I was able to view the cached copy. The censorship was defeated!
It does not seem right that Cloudflare should restrict content based on where we are located. Since Yacy has peers scattered in the world, and not only in one nation, we could view cached web pages from another nation to see what the web page looks like elsewhere (if enabled by the Yacy admin).
