I get nothing when searching from search bar I’m setup on termux/ubuntu running http = 8080 https = 8081
Welcome, @skyy1985!
Good to see another YaCy peer running on Termux/Ubuntu.
If the search page loads but returns no results, we can help work through it. A useful first check is whether your peer has actually indexed any documents and whether local search works independently of remote peers.
If you can, post the output from your YaCy status page along with any warnings from DATA/LOG/yacy00.log when you perform a search.
Your HTTP/HTTPS ports being 8080/8081 should be fine by themselves.
I setup Yacy on an old tablet. I had no results until I raised all the load values to 20.
The default 2.0 load ceiling may simply be inappropriate on these Android devices.
My tablet idles at ~10
Maximum System Load
-------------------
DHT Distribution 20
YaCy Core 20
Local Crawl 20
Packs 20
Scheduler 20
Cleanup 20
Remote search:
RWI 20
Solr 20
How do I raise the load values? Where do I go in the admin page(s)?
System Administration > Performance Settings and Busy Queues
Thanks a lot Roamn your solution worked. I raised the values from the defaults to 20.0 and bam it hit. So if your on android w Termux/Ubuntu and cant get any search results do this change along with starting your own crawl and you should be good to go
Thanks again Roamn ![]()
