Hi, I just installed a server for YaCy and searxNG. Both run as docker containers.
I have a Let’s Encrypt certificate for the server; however,
https://www.libre-find.online:8443/ tells me ‘not secure’.
Is the container secure to connect? How can I confirm that?
My instance indexes mainly academic and social content in Mexico—nothing exciting. Anyhow, I would prefer a secure and private environment for the users.
Best, Robert
Hi,
it seems it’s a self signed certificate, not the Let’s Encrypt one. Click “Advanced” in Firefox error message, and see the details. As issuer “Organisation” it shows “YaCy.net”, so I assume it’s a YaCy’s default self-signed cert.
Where did you put the Let’s Encrypt cert?
