While Going over https://yacy.net/download_installation/ (installation instructions) I thought about how I could get automated notifications of new versions (different issue, just lead to this one) and therefor had a look at https://latest.yacy.net, letting me see signature files that could allow me some sort of verification of the downloaded tar-ball but were mentioned by absolutely no means in the docs. So I thought about adding that, but I don’t know what kind of signature they represent etc. So if you lovely folks could fill me in I’d be happy to contribute there.
