How do I use YaCy as a proxy?

As well as using YaCy as a normal search engine, apparently you can configure it as a proxy in your browser, so it will index pages as you browse.

How do I set that up? I can’t see any obvious options, or any instructions on how to use it.

Just adding the host and default port (8090) to the proxy settings in Firefox doesn’t seem to activate the feature :frowning:

I finally found it:

Advanced Settings → System Administration → Transparent Proxy Access Settings.

I had to ask AI, which was wrong, but pointed me in the right direction… ugh, I feel dirty
