I followed the directions on the YaCy home page in the download section as well as in the How to Install video. I ran the installer, which downloaded/installed Java as part of the process. Java installed successfully, Yacy did not. I redownloaded YaCy and again went through the installation process. Failed to install. I restarted computer. failed to install.
I don’t get it. What I thought would be the simplest thing to do, installing a program and calling it a day, until next time, has become very frustrating!
Which windows version are you using?
I’m using Windows 7.
