Delete sites by text in their title or body

Why i can’t delete websites by text in their title or body? No such filter.

There is a page in your administration tools where you can delete some unwanted pages.

Index Administration > Index Deletion

Or, append this to your yacy URL in the address bar of your web browser:

/IndexDeletion_p.html

Scroll to the bottom and look for Delete by Solr Query.

Here is an example of what could be entered there.

title:(Taylor AND Swift)/i

“/i” is used to make the query case-insensitive.

Examples of titles this search would find:
1. “Swift and Taylor: A Musical Journey”
2. “taylor swift: The Evolution of a Pop Icon”
3. “Exploring the Taylor-Swift Phenomenon”
4. “The Swift-Taylor Collaboration: A Behind-the-Scenes Look”
5. “taylor and swift: An Unlikely Duo”

However, I have not found this method to be 100% reliable.

The pages might be deleted later and not immediately. Restarting yacy might speed up the deletion.
